I. OVERVIEW
Halong Bay- the most stunning scenery in
Vietnam. The bay’s tranquil beauty encompasses 1500 square miles dotted with
well over 1000 limestone islands and islets, many of them named. Bizarre rock
sculptures jutting dramatically from the sea and numerous grottoes have created
and enchanted, timeless world.
The sails of the junks and sampans gliding on
the bay add further to the timeless beauty of the scene. Besides sightseeing,
tourists have the opportunity to take part in the exciting activities such as
kayaking, visiting amazing fishing village, beaches, caves and grotto in Halong
bay, night fishing…. You can also take involved in our cooking class in the
cruise where the Vietnamese excellent chefs will teach you to cook some unique
Vietnamese dishes.

Lan Ha Bay is situated on an expanse of calm water in the east
of Cat Ba Island and share the border with Halong Bay. It's a beautiful bay of
the Gulf of Tonkin with many distinctive features. Lan Ha Bay covers an area of
70 quare kilometers and has 54 square kilometers involved in the area of Cat Ba
National Park

The bay comprises 400 islands in both big and small sizes and
all of them are covered by a layer of green tropical plants. Among the islands
of Lan Ha Bay, many have become favorite sites of tourists on the holiday such
as Guoc Islet (Wooden Shoe Islet, Cu Island, and Khi Island (Monkey Island).
Lan Ha Bay is also known as an ideal place for beaching with 139 beautiful beaches. Tourists coming to Lan Ha Bay definitely will be dazzled by untouched seascape and refreshing atmosphere.
II. BRIEF ITINERARY:
Day 1: Hanoi- Halong Bay

Day 2: Halong Bay- Monkey
Island- CatBa Town (B/L/D)
Day 3: Cat Ba town - Halong
Bay- Hanoi (B/L)
DAY 1: HANOI – HA LONG (L/D)
07:45 - 08:30 Tour guide and shuttle bus of Ha Long Dragon Cruise pick
you up then take 3.5 hour scenic drive to Ha Long city. Have a break 20 minutes en-route to free your legs.
12:15 Embark Bai Chay
harbor, get transferred to Dragon Cruise by a tender and enjoy a welcome drink.
13:00 Receive a cruise
briefing then savor delicious lunch while cruising among wonderful limestone
island.
14:30 Visit
Sung Sot “amazing” cave, the most beautiful with millions of surprising
stalactites and stalagmites
15:30 Stop at Ti Top
Island one hour for swimming, sun-bathing or getting a panoramic view on island
peak.
16:30 Do kayaking
among hidden parts and around Bo Nau cave to discover mysterious beauty of Ha
Long.
17:30 Drop anchor in a
calm water area, rest on the sundeck to enjoy Ha Long views at sunset.
19:00 Have a
delectable dinner in cozy restaurant of Dragon Cruise in the middle of Ha Long.
20:00 Entertain
evening by karaoke singing or try your luck doing squid-fishing. Overnight on
Dragon Cruise.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – MONKEY ISLAND – CAT BA TOWN (B/L/D)
07:00 Start your new
day with complimentary tea or coffee, enjoy breakfast on board.
08:45 Get changed onto
a day-boat and cruise to an emerald water of Lan Ha bay area for second day
activities.
10:00 Get on Monkey
Island, if lucky you can see wild monkeys and endangered white-headed langurs.
11:00 Stop at Viet Hai
harbor. Enjoy 5km cycling ride through wonderful jungle
to Whisper of Nature Bungalow in Viet Hai village. Do a short trek inside Cat Ba National Park.
13:00 Do cycling
5 km back to the harbor again. Enjoy barbecue lunch on board in
Lan Ha bay.
15:30 Arrive Beo
harbor for a bus drive to Cat Ba town. You can choose one of these following options:
OPTION 1: If you stay overnight in Bungalow, you
get your room right after the trek, have meals in Whisper of
Nature. Free and easy in the
afternoon.
OPTION 2: Have dinner and overnight stay in Hung
Long/Sea Pearl (3 stars) hotel in Cat Ba town.
OPTION 3: Have dinner and overnight stay in
Sunrise resort/Cat Ba island & Spa (4 stars) in Cat Ba town.

DAY 3: CAT BA – HA LONG - HANOI (B/L)
07:30 Have breakfast
in your hotel. Enjoy the morning landscape of Cat Ba town and photograph nice
pictures
08:00 Check
out hotel. Bus takes you to harbor and get on the transfer boat to Ha Long Bay
again.
09:30 Get changed onto
Dragon Cruise. Relax on sundeck for sun-bathing while sailing back to the
harbor.
11:30 Leave Dragon
Cruise, have a short rest and take a bus drive to a local restaurant for lunch.
13:30 Say goodbye to
Ha Long bay then return to Hanoi. Have a rest half-way to free your legs.
17:30 Get dropped off
at your hotel. Tour ends.
